Small website studio · written-first · Australia-focused

Clear websites.
Clear responsibility.

MARK & METRIC is a two-person, family-run website studio helping Australian small businesses build a credible, mobile-ready online home.

Why MARK & METRIC

A good website needs an impression and a purpose.

MARK is the impression a business leaves: its message, visual character and customer experience.

METRIC is the useful action the website is designed to support: an enquiry, quote request, booking or call.

The studio brings both sides into one focused website service, so visual design is never separated from the business job the page needs to do.

How the studio works

Connection with Australia

One year in Brisbane.
A service built for all Australia.

A year living and working in Brisbane created firsthand familiarity with Australian daily life and small-business culture. MARK & METRIC now applies that connection to an Australia-wide remote service.

The studio is operated from South Korea. We do not claim an Australian office, local address or in-person coverage that does not exist. The working model is built around clear written communication, documented decisions and practical time-zone overlap.

Operating principles

Clear work creates better work.

01

Write it down

Requirements, decisions and approvals should be easy to revisit instead of disappearing into a call.

02

Keep ownership clear

Domains, hosting accounts and website files should remain under client control.

03

Show the boundary

Scope, exclusions, external fees and responsibilities are confirmed before production begins.

04

Measure honestly

No invented results, guaranteed rankings or revenue promises. Recommendations follow the evidence available.

Working together

What the remote model means.

Do you have an Australian office?

No. MARK & METRIC is operated from South Korea and serves Australia remotely. The studio does not claim a local address or office.

Does a project require spoken English meetings?

No. The default process uses a structured brief, email and written project chat. This also creates a clearer record for feedback and approvals.

Who will manage my project?

The primary studio operator leads client communication and project coordination. Minwoo Kim supports strategy, technical review and measurement within the agreed scope, rather than passing the project through a large account team.

Can you work with an Australian photographer or printer?

Yes, where the project needs local production and a suitable supplier is selected by the client or agreed in scope. Third-party costs and responsibilities remain separate.

Do you only work with Australian businesses?

Australia is the focus of this website and service offer, but suitable remote projects from other markets may also be considered.
